Avery's purse!

I've been pretty busy with life, and haven't been doing much knitting. I go back and forth between knitting and reading. I've been reading a lot lately. Here is a purse I finished up today for my 2 year old. She was a little more than happy!

New things

In my last post I said I was working on new things. I've finally started a shawl for myself. I haven't made myself anything at all, so I figured it was time to get started on something for myself.

It's actually bigger than this now. I need to take another picture. I'm so excited with how pretty it is turning out.

Trying new things

I'm trying new things knitting/crocheting wise. I'm going to try different hat patterns, scarf patterns, legwarmers, and fingerless gloves. I also want to do other things also. I hope to finish Natalie's blanket that I've been working on since August 2010. Of course having a baby in 2010 slowed me down also:)

Here is a picture of the legwarmers I've already started.

I'm hoping it turns out well. I have a pattern for a baby so I sort of had to wing it some. I'll post pictures once I get it done.

Still working on scarves also. I'm working on one for my cousin's son and one for my mom right now. I will keep you posted and updated this year!

Adult hat

This is my first adult hat. I made it for my friend Jen, but I love the colors so much that I think I'm going to have to make one for myself.

Natalie's Hat

Finished Natalie's hat today. She wanted a blue hat and didn't care that the yarn was suppose to be "boy" yarn. Here is my sweet Natalie and her "boy" hat:)
